GETTING STARTED2.1 INSTALLING CARDS & BATTERYPlease switch off your device before inserting orremoving the battery/ SIM card or memory card.Installing SIM Card and BatteryYour device is provided with two SIM slots for twodifferent SIM cards. In order to install battery and SIMcard in the device, please follow the steps mentionedbelow:¾Remove the backcover of the device.¾Hold the device with the front facing downwardsand pull the battery cover.¾Insert the SIM cards in the device.¾Attach the battery.¾Push the battery cover until it clicks into place.Installing Memory CardYour device supports T-Flash card, which is a multimediamemory card used to multiply the memory of the device.The T-flash card is small and should be pulled out and
11installed carefully and prudently in order to avoid any kindof damage. Please follow the steps mentioned below toinstall the memory card in the device:¾Switch off your device.¾Remove the batterycover.¾Slot the T-Flash memory card into the slot.¾Attach the battery.¾Fix the battery cover until it mount properly intoplace.Charging the BatteryThe device prompts a warning tone and message statinginsufficient battery when the battery power is low.Please follow the instructions mentioned below to chargeyour device:¾Plug the connector of the charger into the jack ofthe device.¾Plug the charger into a standard AC wall outlet.Charging……. Fully Charged…….You should fully charge the battery before using thedevice for the first time. It is recommended to charge thebattery for three hours before using the device for the firsttime.
122.2 POWERING ON/OFF THE DEVICETurning On the DeviceAfter installing the SIM cards and charging the battery,you are now ready to turn on your device.¾Long press and hold the Power Key to turn on thedevice.¾The first screen that appears is known as thehome/idle Screen.¾Drag the lock icon sidewards to unlock thescreen.¾If the screen turns off, then short press the PowerKey to turn on the display.Turning Off the Device¾Press and hold the Power Key for 3 seconds.¾A pop-up window appears, select Power off.¾Select OK to confirm.

BASIC OPERATIONS3.1 CALLINGTo Make CallsIf the icon appears on the screen, then you canmake or receive calls.To make a call, please follow the steps mentioned below:¾Enter the Main Menu, select Phone.¾Enter the phone number using the on-screenkeyboard.Tap to delete a wrong number. Tapand hold it to erase the entire number.¾After entering phone number, tap .¾To end the call, tapAnswer/Reject an Incoming CallWhen you receive an incoming call, a notificationmessage appears on the screen. In order to accept thecall, drag towards right. If you wish to reject the call,drag towards left.Other Options during the callTo put a call on holdIf you are having a call conversation and there is anotherincoming call, select hold to put the first call on hold. Tounhold the call, select unhold.To set up conference calls¾If you are already having a call conversation,select Hold to put the call on hold.
14¾Select Add Call to make another call. .¾After connecting to the second call, select mergecalls to set up the conference call.3.2 MESSAGINGYour device features, sending and receiving of SMS(Short Message Service) and MMS (Multimedia MessageService). Go to Main Menu and then select Messaging.Creating a Message¾Tap Compose new message.¾In To field; enter the recipient’s phone number.¾Type messageintheType to compose field.¾Tap to Send.Receiving and Managing MessagesWhen you send and receive messages to or from acontact, these messages are grouped as a messagethread. A message thread looks like an exchangedconversation.To reply to a text message¾Enter the Main Menu, select Messaging.¾Select a message thread to open it.¾Select Type to compose to enteryourmessage.¾Tap to Send.To forward a text message¾Enter the Main Menu, select Messaging.¾Tap to view a message thread.¾Press and hold a message to view the messageoptions.¾Select Forward.
15¾In the To field, enter the recipient’s phonenumber.¾Tap to Send.To delete all text messages¾Enter the Main Menu, select Messaging.¾Tap Menu > Delete all threads.¾All the messages will be deleted.To copy message textYou can use this function to copy the text from amessage to a new message you are composing.¾Enter the Main Menu, select Messaging.¾Select a message thread to open it.¾Press and hold the messagetoviewthesubmenu options.¾Select ‘Copy’.¾Go to Compose new message.¾Press and hold Type to compose.¾Select ‘Paste’ to paste the copied text to yournew message.MULTIMEDIA MESSAGEA Multimedia message or MMS can contain letters, animage, an audio or video file. To create and send a MMS,please follow the steps mentioned below:¾Enter the Main Menu, select Messaging.¾Tap Compose new message.¾Select Menu > Add subject.¾In the To field, enterthe recipient’s phonenumber or email address and enter the Subject.¾To insert a picture or video file, etc, tap .¾To insert text, tap Type to Compose, and thenenter your message.
163.3 CONTACTSContacts refer to the phonebook that lets you storenames, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and otherinformation. You can save information such as name,picture, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc for eachcontact listed in your Contacts menu.To add a Contact¾Enter the Main Menu select Phone.¾Enter number > Tap Menu > Add to contacts >Create New contact.¾Select the storage¾You can enter contact information such as name,phone number, email address etc, if you selectstorage as “Phone”.¾Tap Done to save the contact.Tip: Or enter the Main Menu and select Contacts,tap create New contact.To import contacts¾Enter the Main Menu select Contacts.¾Tap Menu > Import/Export.¾Select to import contacts from Phone contact/Phone storage/ SIM Card/ SD Card.¾Select a particular source to import the contactsfrom.¾Select Next.¾Select the destination, such as Phone to copycontacts to.¾Select Next.¾Select “Select All” to import all contacts ormarkthe required contacts.¾Select Copy.

HOME SCREENFrom Home screen, you can quickly access commonfeatures, view notifications of missed calls, receivedmessages and check connection status.4.1 STATUS BARThe Status bar icons indicate different types ofinformation. 194.3 CUSTOMIZING SCREENThe device features a touch screen with idle displays andaccess to utilities at just one-touch. So swipe right or leftto navigate through various screens accessing yourfavorite features without entering the main menu. Eachscreen can be customized by adding various widgets,shortcuts and folders.ShortcutsIn order to add a shortcut on the screen: Long press onthe desired application to add on the screen.WidgetsSave time with live updates right on Home screen and getall of your personalized updates at one place.Setting the wallpaperYou can customize the wallpaper of your Home screenwith default wallpaper or with pictures taken from yourdevice.¾In the idle mode, tap Menu Key > Wallpaper.¾Select your desired wallpaper from the variousoptions: Gallery, Live Wallpapers, Wallpapers.Rotating Your Mobile Phone Screen¾The orientation of most screens will change tolandscape or portrait view when you rotate yourphone sideways.¾On the Home screen, tap > Settings >Display > Auto-rotate screen to disable thisfunction.

MULTIMEDIAYour device features various multimedia options, such asMusic Player, Camera and Video Player.5.1 FILE MANAGERYou can browse, open and manage the data saved in theDevice and Memory card by accessing the File Managersub-menu. The device provides a certain space for usersto manage files and supports the T-Flash card. You canuse the file browser to conveniently manage variousdirectories and files on the T-Flash card.5.2 MUSIC PLAYERUse the Music player to play music files. The songssaved in your SD Card can be played using the MusicPlayer of the device.¾Tap select Application tab¾Select MusicThe songs are categorized by Artists, Albums and Songs.You can make your favorite playlist by long pressing on asong and selecting Add to Playlist.5.3 CAMERAYour device is equipped with camera and camcorder,which enables you to capture photos and videos.5.4 SOUND RECORDERYou can use the sound recorder to record sounds and
21also select to save the recordings in your phone. Tapselect Application tab > Sound Recorder. When in thesound recorder interface, press menu key to selectrecording mode.5.5 GALLERYYou can view the captured images, recorded video clips,and downloaded images in the Gallery.The picture folder and video folder will be displayed.Select to view the camera pictures or camera videos. Theimages or videos will be displayed in thumbnails.5.6 FM radioYou can use your phone to listen to FM radio stationsonce the original Headset is plugged into the connector.Please press the side key to adjust music volume.Tap to exit FM radio function. 226. NETWORK6.1 WI-FIConnect to a wireless network to browse Internet.¾Enter Main Menu and tap Settings.¾Tap‘ON’toactivateWi-Fi.¾Tap Wi-Fi > Network notification to startdetecting networks. The available networks willthen be listed.¾Tap Add Wi-Fi network to add a connection.Note:¾If the device before the connection is successful,the equipment information will be saved in thepop-up window selected connection, select forgetto remove device information.¾If the device does not encrypt selectedconnection in the pop-up window to connect.¾If the device is encrypted, the pop-up window willappear, enter the password.¾Networkconnection is successful; the status baricon appears Wi-Fi connection.6.2 3GThe device supports WCDMA protocol. Please makesure that you device is turned off, then insert or removethe SIM card.6.3 BLUETOOTHYou can transfer data, such as music to other deviceusing Bluetooth. 247. SETTINGSSelect Settings to view and adjust the settings of yourdevice. The Settings menu is categorized into: Wireless &networks, Audio profiles, Display, Storage, Battery, Apps,Location services, Security, Language & input, Backup &reset, Accounts and System.7.1 SIM MANAGEMENTYour device supports two SIM cards, which can bemanaged by accessing the SIM Management sub-menu.You can view/change the roaming settings of the cardsusing this menu.7.2 WIRELESS & NETWOKSAccess this sub-menu to change/view the Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, Mobile Networks, VPN settings, etc. Pleaserefer to network section for detailed information on Wi-Fiand bluetooth.7.3 AUDIO PROFILESYour device provides four pre-defined user profiles thatallow the operations of the device to best suit theenvironment you are in. The profiles are General, Silent,Meeting and Outdoor. The Touch icon adds a newprofile; tap the icon to select Reset to restore thedefault settings.7.4 DISPLAYWith this function you can configure the displaycharacteristics of the device including brightness,
25Auto-rotate screen, etc.7.5 STORAGEView and manage the data storage of your device:Total Space and Available Space: Lists the amount ofspace on the microSD card installed in your device andthe amount you have used to store photos, videos, music,and other files.Un-mount SD Card: Un-mounts the microSD card fromyour device so that you can format the card or safelyremove it when the device is on.Available Space: The amount of internal phone storageused by the operating system, its components,applications (including those you downloaded), and theirpermanent and temporary data.7.6 BATTERYYou can check the battery status of the device byaccessing this sub-menu.7.7 APPLICATIONSThis sub-menu enables you to manage all the installed,running and applications saved in the device memory andSD card. You can remove and manage installedapplications, view and control running applications, allowinstallation of non we build in market applications.7.8 LOCATION ACCESSYour device supports Global Positioning System.7.9 SECURITY
26You can protect your device from unauthorized users bysetting the PIN code or entering a password.Enable or Disable SIM card PINWhen PIN code is enabled, you are required to enter thePIN code before making a call.¾Go to Application Drawer > Settings > Security.¾On the SIM card lock tab, select Set up SIM cardlock.¾Select a SIM card.¾Tap Lock SIM card to use PIN. Check to enable,uncheck to disable.¾Enter the current PIN code.¾To change the PIN code, select Change PIN.¾Enter the old PIN code.¾Enterthe new PIN code and confirm.Setup Screen LockYou can set up a lock for your screen in form of Pattern,PIN code or password.¾Go to Settings > Security¾Set up screen lock¾Select a desired form (None, Slide, Pattern, PINor password)7.10 LANGUAGE AND INPUTUse the Language & Keyboard settings to select thelanguage for the text on your device and for configuringthe onscreen keyboard, including words that you’veadded to its dictionary.7.11 BACKUP & RESETYou can use the Privacy settings to manage yourpersonal information, such as back up my data,

You also usethese settings to control how and whether all applicationssend, receive, and sync data on their own schedules, andwhether all applications can synchronize user dataautomatically.7.13 DATE AND TIMEYou can select to set date, time and time zone using thissub-menu.Use Automatic unless you need to override the networkvalues.Use 24-hour format: Select to set 24-hour formats on oroff.Select Date format: Select from a variety of formats.7.14 SCHEDULE POWER ON/OFFYou can set the time for auto power on /off. Do turn thestatus on before using that function, and then the time.7.15 ACCESSIBILITYYou can use the Accessibility settings to configure anyaccessibility plug-ins you have installed on your device.7.16 ABOUT PHONEYou can view system information Including Systemupdates, Status, Legal information, Model number,Android version and so on.
