FCCRegulations: 15.19(a)(3):Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.15.105(b):NOTE:ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:—Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.—Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.—Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.—Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp 15.21:Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsibleforcompliancecouldvoidtheuser‘sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.
RFExposureInformation(SAR)Thisdeviceisdesignedandmanufacturednottoexceedtheemissionlimitsforexposuretoradiofrequency(RF)energysetbytheFederalCommunicationsCommissionoftheU.S.Government.TheexposurestandardforwirelessdevicesemploysaunitofmeasurementknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate(SAR).TheSARlimitadoptedbytheFCCis1.6W/kgforanuncontrolledenvironment.TestsforSARareconductedusingstandardoperatingpositionsacceptedbytheFCCwiththedevicetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands.TheFCChasgrantedanEquipmentAuthorizationforthisdevicewithallreportedSARlevelsevaluatedasincompliancewiththeFCCRFexposureguidelines.AlthoughtheSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSARlevelofthedevicewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisisbecausethedeviceisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouseonlytheposerrequiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbasestationantenna,thelowerthepoweroutput.
