Hi Friend, You’re about to embark on a “dino-mite” adventure with me, Angus the RC T-Rex, and my GeoRider™ Brody. I’m the king of the dinos, and Brody is my amazing rider. Together we charge forward to gather the lava stones our city needs to survive. The CyberRiders™ can’t stop us! Insert Brody or any other rider into the driver’s seat and press a button to hear us talk or make cool sounds! You might even learn a little about the most awesome dino that ever lived—me. 5GETTING STARTEDGETTING STARTEDBATTERY INSTALLATION1.  Make sure the unit and the remote control are turned OFF.2.  Locate the battery covers on the top of the unit and on the bottom of the remote control. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws.3.  First, install 6 new “AA” size (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box in the main unit. Then, install 2 new “AA” size (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box in the remote control. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)4.  Replace the covers of the battery compartments (For the main unit, you will needtopressdownrmlyonthecovertoclose it.), then tighten the screw.Angus the RC T-RexRemote ControlNote: When the batteries run low, the toy will no longer respond. If this happens, please replace the batteries.

7PRODUCT FEATURESPRODUCT FEATURES1. TURNING THE UNIT ONSlide the REMOTE CONTROL OFF/CHANNEL SWITCH to the I or II position to turn the REMOTE CONTROL ON.Slide the OFF/CHANNEL SWITCH on Angus the RC T-Rex to the same position (I or II) as the REMOTE CONTROL. The REMOTE CONTROL and Angus the RC T-Rex must be on the same channel (I or II) to send and receive signals.2. INDICATOR LIGHT FOR REMOTE SIGNALThe INDICATOR LIGHT will illuminate anytime a button is pressed or the STEERING WHEEL is turned. The light indicates a signal is being sent to Angus the RC T-Rex.3. TRANSFORMATION BUTTONPress the TRANSFORMATION BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL or Angus the RC T-Rex to transform Angus the RC T-Rex from dino to vehicle or from vehicle to dino remotely.
8PRODUCT FEATURES4. FORWARD/BACKWARD BUTTONBy pressing the FORWARD/BACKWARD BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL up or down, Angus the RC T-Rex will move forward or backward. Note: If Angus the RC T-Rex is not moving straight, use the ALIGNMENT DIAL to improve.5. STEERING WHEELTurn the STEERING WHEEL on the REMOTE CONTROL to make Angus the RC T-Rex turn left or right. 6. ACTION BUTTONPress the ACTION BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL to hear Angus the RC T-Rex make cool sound effects and to see him perform trick moves.7. LIGHT BUTTONPress the LIGHT BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL to see the two headlights illuminate and hear fun sounds.
98. TALK BUTTON Press the TALK BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL or Angus the RC T-Rex to learn fun dinosaur facts or hear the conversation between Angus the RC T-Rex and his rider.9. SOUND BUTTON Press the SOUND BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL or Angus the RC T-Rex to hear cool sound effects. 10. RECOGNITION POINTPlace a rider on the RECOGNITION POINT on Angus the RC T-Rex to hear conversations between the dino and the rider. Angus will recognize whether the inserted rider is a GeoRider™ or CyberRider™ (sold separately). Angus’s eyes will change when a different team’s rider is inserted.PRODUCT FEATURES
1011. STYLE BUTTONPress the STYLE BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL to change Angus’s eyes in dino mode, or select the dashboard function in vehicle mode.12. VOLUME BUTTONPress the VOLUME BUTTON on the REMOTE CONTROL to adjust the volume.13. TURNING THE UNIT OFF/ AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF Slide the OFF/CHANNEL SWITCH on the REMOTE CONTROL to the middle position to turn it OFF. Slide the OFF/CHANNEL SWITCH on Angus the RC T-Rex to the middle position to turn it OFF.To preserve battery life, Angus the RC T-Rex will automatically power off after several minutes without input. The unit can be turned on again by inserting or removing a rider, by toggling the OFF/CHANNEL SWITCH or by pressing any of the following buttons: TALK BUTTON, SOUND BUTTON or TRANSFORM BUTTON on Angus the RC T-Rex.Note: The unit and REMOTE CONTROL will automatically turn off when their respective batteries are low. For the unit, a low battery indicator  will be shown as a reminder. PRODUCT FEATURES
11CARE & MAINTENANCE1.   Keep the unit and the remote control clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.2.   Keep the unit and the remote control out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.3.   Remove the batteries when the unit and the remote control are not in use for an extended period of time.4.Donotdroptheunitortheremotecontrolonhardsurfacesanddonot expose either to moisture or water.TROUBLESHOOTINGIf for some reason the unit or the remote control stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:1.  Please turn the unit and the remote control OFF. 2.  Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.3.  Let the unit and the remote control stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.4.  Turn the unit and the remote control ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.5. Return of the product under Warranty must adhere to the following rules: If VTech believes that there may be a defect in the materials or workmanship of the product and can confirm the purchase date and location of the product, we will at our discretion replace the product with a new unit or product of comparable value. A replacement product or parts assumes the remaining Warranty of the original product or 30 days from the date of replacement, whichever provides longer coverage.
