BTRBluetooth ReceiverCongratulations on the purchase of the Atlantic Technology BTR Bluetooth Receiver with AptX®. Aer con-necting this device to a powered soundbar, receiver or preamp/processor, you can stream content from anyBluetooth enabled device, including an iPhone, iPad or Android smartphone to your system.In this document, we will walk you through the installation of the BTR and explain the steps required to pairyour Bluetooth device to your audio/video system. Before we begin, please review the contents of the box. Inaddition to this owner’s manual, you should nd the following items:1. WelcomeBefore you connect the BTR Bluetooth Receiver to yourpowered soundbar, receiver or preamp/processor, pleasetake a moment to learn how the dierent lights, buttons,and connections work.A. Status LEDB. Audio Out JackC. USB Power Port■To connect the BTR Bluetooth Receiver to a pow-ered soundbar, receiver or preamp/processor:1. Connect the 3.5mm end of the supplied audiocable to the Audio Out jack of the BTR.e BTR comes with variety of connections andpower options. Choose the cables appropriate toyour application.2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to theaudio input jack(s) of your powered soundbar, receiver or preamp/processor.Consult the owner’s manual of your powered sound-bar, receiver or preamp/processor for more informa-tion about connecting a source device.3. Use the supplied power adapter for the BTR. You can either plug the BTR directly into the powersupply or use the supplied USB to USB cable. 4. Plug the AC Power Adapter into an AC wall outlet.e LED will be a steady red indicating the unit ison and waiting for a signal.2. Setup and Connections■To pair a mobile device such as an iPhone or An-droid smartphone to the BTR Bluetooth Receiver:1. Plug in the BTR power source. e status LED will turn red. e unit is functioningnormally.2. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your mobiledevice.Consult the owner’s manual of your mobile deviceif you are unfamiliar with enabling its Bluetoothfunction.3. Search for “Atlantic Technology BTR” and select“Pair.”If pairing is successful, the red LED light will turnblue. Your BTR is now ready to play music fromyour mobile device via bluetooth.Once paired, the unit will automatically reconnectif the paired device is turned o or goes out of range.If pairing is not successful the red LED will remainlit. Consult the owners manual of the device you aretrying to pair and make sure the bluetooth functionis working.4. To pair another mobile device to the BTR Blue-tooth Receiver, repeat steps 1-3.3. IT DOES NOT cover costs of installationin (or removal from) a xed installation, or normal set-up,claims based on any misrepresentation by the seller, or per-formance variations resulting from installation related cir-cumstances such as signal quality, AC power or incompat-ibilities with speakers and/or other system components.During the warranty period, Atlantic Technology will, atits option, either repair the defect, or replace the defectiveproduct, or the defective parts, or components thereof atno charge to the owner for parts and labor covered by thiswarranty. If necessary repairs are not covered by this war-ranty, or if a unit is examined which is not in need of re-pair, you will be charged for the repairs and/or theexamination. If non-warranted repairs are needed, we willnotify you of the estimated cost and ask for your author-ization to perform said repairs.You must pay shipping charges incurred in getting yourProduct to the factory.
