EnglishGENERALCongratulations on your purchase of a Shure U1H. The U1H is a high– powered ver-sion of the Shure U1 transmitter and is compatible with all Shure U4 receivers. Operationof the U1H is virtually identical to that of the U1. Only the transmitter/receiver spacingand battery life differ from the U1. Both are described below. Refer to the UHF SystemUser Guide for detailed U1H operating instructions.Transmitter/Receiver SpacingBecause of its greater rf output power, an U1H can overload a nearby receiver. To pre-vent overloading the receiver, Shure recommends you maintain a distance of a least 10meters (30 ft.) between the U1H transmitter and the U4 receiver.U1H Transmitter Battery LifeBecause of its increased rf output power, the U1H requires more battery power thanthe U1. Two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries typically provide 4–6 hours of U1H operation, compared to 6–10 hours of operation they provide the U1 transmitter. For more information on the U1H, contact the Shure Applications Group at(847) 866–2525.SPECIFICATIONSOutput Power:U1H–MA (782–810 MHz): 50 mWU1H–MB (800–830 MHz): 50 mWU1H–UA (782–806 MHz): 100 mWWorking Range:50 mW: 275 m (750 ft.) minimum, under typical conditions100 mW: 300 m (1000 ft.) minimum, under typical conditionsNOTE: Actual working range depends on RF signal absorption, reflection, and inter-ference.Frequency Response:50 to 15,000 Hz ±2 dBAudio Gain Adjustment Range:0–40 dBModulation:FM ±45 kHz deviationAntenna:1/4 wave, whip antenna, 50 WPower Requirements:2 AA 1.5 V alkaline batteriesBattery Life:4–6 hoursCertification:Type Accepted under FCC Parts 74; Certified by IC in Canada under RSP 123.RA Type Approved in the U.K. to MPT1350; EMC Approved to ETS 300 445.Type Approved and EMC Approved systems are eligible to carry the CE mark.NOTICE:This product is part of a Shure Wireless Microphone System.
