  Quick Start Guide   Before using your Android tablet, please read this    Charge the tablet   Your tablet hasn’t been charged yet. Fully charge the battery (8 hours or more) before first use and whenever it is depleted to prolong battery life. Please use the supplied power adapter only. The battery reaches its maximum capacity after a few full charging and discharging cycles. Power button   The power button turns your tablet on/off. It is also used to put the tablet into sleep mode or wake it up from sleep mode.    Volume key   Press this button to increase or decrease the system volume.   Webcam   Use the built-in camera for picture taking, video recording, video conferencing, and other interactive applications.    Touch screen panel   The touch screen panel allows you to operate your tablet using multi-touch technology.    Headphone jack   The stereo jack (3.5mm) connects the tablet’s audio out signal to amplified speakers or headphones. Using this jack automatically disables the built-in speaker.    Microphone   The built-in mono microphone can be used for video conferencing, voice narrations, or simple audio recordings.    TF card slot   Insert TF (micro SD) card here for storing files.   USB port   Plug charger here to charge the battery or USB cable to connect the tablet to a computer.    Unlocking your tablet    After you turn on the device, you will see the Lock key symbol appear on the screen, tap and drag towards the Unlock icon.
Home screen    Your Home screen is where you make the tablet your own. You can add your favorite applications, shortcuts, folders and widgets so they’re always just a tap away.     Smoothly switch between screens by simply swiping your finger left of right. Search   You can search for information on the tablet and on the Web by using Google Search.    Return   Return to the previous screen.    Menu   Display additional options for the current app or task.   Launcher   Open the Apps menu.    Tabs   Switch to recently opened application tabs.
 Personalize your tablet   Customize your tablet just the way you want it. You can change the wallpaper, skin, widgets, apps, or shortcuts.    From the Home screen, just press MENU and then tap Wallpaper.   Rearranging icons   To move an app or shortcut on the Home screen, press and hold its icon and drag it. When you drag it to a slot that’s occupied by another icon, the occupant automatically moves away to give room.    Lock Screen    When your tablet becomes idle, it turns the display off and goes to sleep mode to save battery power. Simply press POWER to turn the display back on.     Connect to the Internet    Using Wi-Fi  To use Wi-Fi, you need access to a wireless access point or “hotspot”. The availability and strength of the Wi-Fi signal will vary depending on objects, such as buildings or simply a wall between rooms, the Wi-Fi signal has to pass through.           1. From the Home screen, press LAUNCHER and then tap Settings. 2. Go to Wireless & networks, and then tap Wi-Fi switch to turn Wi-Fi on.  3. Choose a Wi-Fi network to connect to.   Internet browsing  Enjoy fast browsing on your tablet. From the Home screen, tap Browser to open the web browser.
  Using the camera    Capture those priceless moments and share them to your loved ones. From the Home screen, tap Camera to turn on the built-in camera. You can capture both still images and video.    USB connection  You can connect your device to your computer, use it as a removable disk and open any files saved on your device.     When the screen below appears, tap Turn on USB storageto connect with computer.             Settings    Settings on your tablet  Control and customize tablet settings on the Settings screen. From the Home screen, press MENU and then tap Settings.        Wireless & networks    Set up wireless connections, such as Wi-Fi, data connection, and Bluetooth,  enable Airplane mode, and more  Data usage    Show data usage and set data limit.   Sound    Choose sounds to use for notifications.  Adjust media playback volume.  Display    Set up display settings such as automatic screen orientation, brightness,  screen timeout, and more.  Storage    Check the available space in the internal storage and your storage card.  Erase the internal storage or storage card content.  From this screen, be sure to unmount your storage card before you remove it from the tablet.   Location services    Select the sources to use when determining your location.   Security    Set a screen lock or password; or manage the credential storage.   Battery    Show battery information.
Apps    Manage running applications, install or uninstall programs, set low memory  notification, and more.  Accounts & sync   Manage synchronization and other settings for your accounts.  Language & input    Set the operating system language and region. You can also set onscreen  keyboard options.   Backup & reset    Choose to automatically back up some settings (e.g. Wi-Fi passwords or Bookmarks) to Google servers using your Google Account so you can restore  them when needed.  You can also do a factory data reset.   Date & time    Set the date and time, time zone, and date or time format.  Accessibility   Set font size, auto rotate feature, and more.   Developer options    Show pointer location, screen updates, CPU usage, and more.  About tablet    View different information about the tablet, such as the battery level,  hardware and software information, and more.                Additional info  Battery saving tips   • Adjust the Backlight to be less bright. Go into Settings > Display > Brightness to turn down the brightness to the lowest acceptable level.  • Disable the Wi-Fi when you don’t need it. Go into Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi to toggle the Wi-Fi on or off.
