Guided Tour - SR266 )2 dna 1( sannetnA :1 - The antenna mountings allow full rotation for optimumplacement. In normal operation, both Antenna 1 (the antenna on the left) and Antenna 2(the antenna on the right) should be placed in a vertical position. Both antennas can befolded inward for convenience when transporting. 2: Volume control - This knob sets the level of the audio signal being output through both oclockwisse.utput jacks on the rear panel. Reference level is obtained when the knob is turned fully3: ANT LEDs - When signal is being received, one of these will be lit , showingyou whether the (left) “1” or (right) “2” antenna is currently being used.4: Power switch - Use this to turn the SR55 power on and off. 11223 346658
Guided Tour - SR266 5: DC input- Connect the supplied 12 volt, 200 mA power adapter here, using the strainrelief as shown in the illustration below. WARNING: The substitution of any other kind ofpower adapter can cause severe damage to the SR266 and will void your warranty.6: Output- Use this unbalanced high impedance 1/4" jack when connecting the SR266 to consumer (-10) audio equipment. Wiring is as follows: tip hot, sleeve ground.Using the strain relief: Gather up a loop of wire and pass it through the strain relief, then pass the adapter plug through the loop in order to create a knot. 9
Guided Tour - HT61: Audio on-off switch - When set to the “up”position, audio signal is transmitted. When set tothe “down” position, the audio signal is muted.Because the carrier signal remains during muting,no “pop” or “thud” will be heard. Note that turningthis off does not turn off the transmitter power—it issimply a way to temporarily mute the transmissionof audio signal. If you don’t plan on using the HT6for extended periods, turn off its power by usingthe power on-off switch (see photo above).2: Battery level metercolor LEDs indicates relative battery power, indi-cating whether the installed battery is at low (red),high (green) strength. When only the red “low” indicator lights RF perform- ance is degraded and the battery needs to be replac-ed.3: Power on-off switch* - Use this to turn theHT6 on or off (to conserve battery power, be sureto leave it off when not in use).4: Battery holder - Insert a standard 9-volt alkaline battery here, being sure to observethe plus and minus polarity markings shown. We recommend the Duracell MN 1604 typebattery. Although rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries can be used, they do not supply ade-quate current for more than four hours. WARNING: Do not insert the battery backwards;doing so can cause severe damage to the HT6 and will void your warranty.* Be sure to mute the audio signal at your external mixer or amplifier before turning trans-mitter power on or off, or an audible pop may result.132410
Stage 266 Owner’s Manual Draft v0.1 Introduction Congratulations on purchasing the Samson Stage 266 Dual Microphone Wireless System! The Stage 266 system is the perfect solution for any application requiring two, high quality, wireless microphones in an easy to use, compact package. The system features the SR266 dual channel receiver with individual and mixed outputs. Also included are two HT6 handheld microphone transmitters. With the Stage 266 system, you’ll have great sound quality with clear reception and the ability to walk freely around your venue. For live sound, karaoke, school, conferences, and Houses of Worship the Stage 266 is an ideal solution for dual channel wireless microphones providing outstanding performance and reliably. Features  Professional dual handheld wireless system.  Easy setup and operation.  Crystal controlled, Superheterodyne circuitry for clear and reliable reception.  Individual or mixed ¼” outputs  Up to 250 feet of line of sight operating range.  Two professional HT6 handheld transmitters with mute switches  HT6 transmitters provide 9 hours of battery life using standard 9-volt batteries. Stage 266 Setup 1. Place the receiver where it will be used (the general rule of thumb is to maintain “line of sight” between the receiver and transmitter so that the person using transmitter can see the receiver). Extend the antenna and place it in a vertical position. 2. Connect the SR266 receiver to the line input of your mixer, amplifier, or karaoke system using the included ¼”–¼” or ¼”–RCA cable. (Make sure the input volume controls of your mixer, amplifier, or karaoke system are turned down before connecting the SR266 receiver). a. To send a mixed signal of both microphones to a single output, connect a cable to one output on the SR266. Connect two cables to the SR266 outputs to send the two microphone signals separately. 3. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC Input on the rear panel of the S266 into any standard AC outlet. 4. Turn both. VOLUME controls on the SR266 completely counterclockwise. Press the POWER switch on the front panel of the SR266 receiver. The Green power indicator will light. 5. Unscrew the bottom section of the HT6 microphone transmitter. Place a fresh 9-volt alkaline battery in the transmitter battery holder, taking care to observe the polarity markings. Turn on the HT6 transmitters by sliding the POWER switch to the right and replace the bottom section. 11
6. Turn the VOLUME controls on the SR266 fully clockwise. While singing or speaking into the HT6 transmitters slowly raise the input volume controls on your mixer, amplifier, or karaoke system until the desired level is reached.
