RE112 GE-Compatible Smoke SensorFeatures •UL217 Self-Contained Fire Alarm Device•Senses Smoke per UL217•Sleek design•Cover tamper.•Strong, reliable RF signal.•3-5 year battery life on Panasonic CR123A battery.•Low Battery indication.Key Instructions1. Attach the mounting plateLocate on ceiling, as close to center as possible, away from corners. Some local codes may allow wall mounting.Mounting plate removes counter-clockwise2. Insert battery with MINUS towards the RED lever. Close battery door.3. Enroll sensor in panel:a) Place panel in Learn Sensor modeb) Press & release the black tamper switchSounder will continue beeping 3 times, until sensor is mounted.4. Testing: a) Place panel in Sensor Test modeb) Press & hold TEST button until you hear the sounder beep. c) Panel will indicate the sensor is open, but Fire Alarm will not sound.NOTE: Using Smoke-in-a-Can will cause an actual Fire Alarm.Operation Situation Sounder LED Wireless Signal to PanelRecoveryActual smoke Temporal 3 (Loud)RED(pulsing)Wireless Fire Alarm Signal sent to panelSilence an actual alarm with the TEST button.
