The TKP-2000N achieves amagnificent combination of power and flexibility by simplifying andautomating the operation of even the most complex systems. The TKP-2000N has the ability to control audio video components, energymanagement devices, multi-zone matrixes, PCs, iPods and whole houseURC Lighting. It communicates over the Local Area Network (LAN) to theMRX Advanced System Controller.An MRX Advanced System Controller is REQUIRED for the TKP-2000N tooperate. The combination of the TKP-2000N and MRX-10 create a robustand powerful system to control the Total Control product line and yourhome theatre equipment.

Two-Way Control of Media on PSX-2 and SNP-1The high speed of the LAN enables the TKP-2000N to display lists ofartists, albums or songs and to display the cover art of the selectedalbum on the Now Playing screen of the remote control from thePSX-2 Personal Server or from the SNP-1 Streaming Network Player.Backlit Color LCD screenThe TKP-2000N has a programmable 3.5” color LCD screen and backlit"hard" buttons. When any button is pressed the color LCD screenwill turn on, and the "hard" buttons will illuminate.User Configurable Information Feeds for News, Sports, Stocks andWeatherThe well known URC modules for News, Sports, Weather and Stocksare all available, configured for the TKP-2000N screen. TKP-2000N Product DescriptionThe TKP-2000N consists of a 3.5” color touchscreen and 6 customizablebuttons. Your whole house custom installer can request custom buttonsspecific to your Total Control setup.Power: Turn ON the room where the TKP-2000N is located (or any otherroom if using the Rooms Menu)Lights: Press to control URC Lighting throughout your home.Main: Press to view the main screen and control the Total Control system.Vol+, Vol- and Mute: Easily adjust the volume settings for any zone.LAN port: This is connected by your whole house custom installer toyour home network via Ethernet cable to a PoE (Power overEthernet) switch. Displaying the Settings ScreenYou can adjust the settings of the TKP-2000Nwhenever you like by pressing and holdingboth the MAIN and MUTE buttons for five seconds. When you do, the screen will changeto the SETTINGS screen. If you do not pressany button on the SETTINGS screen within 1 minute, the TKP-2000N will time out and automatically return to normal operation. Adjusting Sleep SettingsConserve energy by configuring the keypad to fall asleep after a specifiedamount of time. Select a time from thedrop down list. Button Light SettingsConserve energy by opting to turn off the LED lighting behind the buttons.Setting Date and TimeYour TKP-2000N may have been programmed to display the date or time on the touch screen.If you need to, you can adjust the time displayedby changing the settings on this screen. If youlive in a part of the country that uses daylightsavings time, check the box next to: “Automaticallyadjust clock for daylight saving”.TKP-2000N NETWORK KEYPADPage 4

However, you can adjust the volume to any level you like by touching and dragging the volume control here.Adjusting BrightnessSimply touch and drag the brightnessslider to the desired level.SystemThe System Information screen displaysdata about your TKP-2000N’s operating system, memory etc.NetworkThe Network screen displays networkinformation about your TKP-2000N and the network it is connected to.

As theTKP-2000N is connected to your home network, your installer hasthe ability to update the firmware via Off-Site programming. How do I reset a TKP-2000N?Remove the front cover of the TKP-2000N. Use a pen or pointed objectdevice to depress the button and reset the unit. How do I erase a TKP-2000N?Press and hold Main + Mute for 3 seconds then select the FactoryDefault button. Universal Remote Control will, at its sole option, repair theproduct using new or comparable rebuilt parts, or exchange the productfor a comparable new or rebuilt product.
