Particularly after the instrument has beensubject to abnormal use, and before, during and after important measurements.Make sure the optics is kept clean and that there is no mechanical damage to thebumpers.CAUTION:In using the instrument for distance measurements or for positioning moving objects(e.g. cranes, building equipment, platforms, etc.)Unforseen events may cause erroneous measurements.Precautions:Only use this product as a measuring sensor, not as a control device. Your system
4must be configured and operated in such a way, that in case of an erroneousmeasurement, malfunction of the device or power failure due to installed safetymeasures (e.g. safety limit switch), it is assured that no damage will occur.WARNING:Flat batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. 8Operating proceduresSlide on the screen left or right to exchange measuring mode.The red side on the icon is to be measured.Continuous measurementThe device goes to continuous measurementdirectly when it’s powered on, click on thescreen or press the measuring button to holdthe measurement, press the measuring buttonto measure again.*This function will be stopped automaticallyafter 5 minutes of inactivity.Pythagorean Method-Two pointsSlide on the screen left or right to locate thePythagorean Method-Two points icon         ,press      to take the first distance measure-ment .press       to take the second distance(keepthe instrument horizontal).The results of first length, second length andthe height will be orderly displayed on thescreen.Area measurementSlide on the screen to locate the areameasurement icon      , and press     buttonto take the first distance measurement(e.g. Length).Press       again to take the second distancemeasurement (e.g. width).The results of length, width, and area will bedisplayed in the display orderly.Auto levelSlide on the screen to locate auto level icon     ,and press measuring button      to measure thelength of Hypotenuse, then Hypotenuse, Verticaland horizontal distance will be displayed on thescreen.
9Auto heightSlide on the screen to locate auto height icon      ,and press measuring button      to measure thefirst distance. Press     again, take the seconddistance.The results of first length, second length andthe height will be orderly displayed on thescreen.Error codeAll errors or failures will be shown as codes. 10Bluetooth wireless data transferOperation on the deviceClick Bluetooth icon       on the setting menu, when the icon lights up, it meansBluetooth is activated, and it flashes waiting for connection.Operation on AppOpen APP to enter scene measuring, press the Bluetooth button     on up-right,then the Bluetooth will be turned on. Search for Bluetooth name of theinstrument:          ,   click and connect it. After connection, Bluetooth icon turnsgreen, and the Bluetooth icon  on the device stops flashing, users can remotelycontrol the device.*As D520T do not have the function of data recording, the Import Records function inthe APP can not be used.Bluetooth function can only work with the APP, Please download and installMileseey APP in advance. APP name: “Mileseey iMeter”. Android users candownload in the Android market or official website of Mileseey. Apple users candownload and install directly in App Store.APP Operating environment requirements:Android platform: Android 4.3 and above version. The Bluetooth module need to beversion 4.3 and above.iOS platform: applicable to the iPhone 4S and above, iPad 3 and above.APP name: “Mileseey iMeter”.APP Operating environment requirements:1, Android platform: Android 4.3 and above version.
