Grab the tray to slide out the card slot and remove the card.ChargingAbout the batteryYour device has an internal, nonremovable, CTIA 1725-certified rechargeablebattery. Use only Nokia approved chargers designated for this device. You can alsouse a compatible USB data cable to charge your device.Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device. Take the device to thenearest authorised service facility for replacement of the battery.You can use USB charging when a wall outlet is not available. Data can betransferred while charging the device. Only connect your device to products that have a USB-IF logo or have completedthe USB-IF compliance program.Authorised retail points may also offer a battery replacement service.When your device is low on power, it goes into power save mode. To deactivatepower save mode, press , and select Deactivate power saving. When powersave mode is activated, you may not be able to modify the settings of certainapplications.Charge the batteryYour battery has been partially charged at the factory, but you may need torecharge it before you can switch on your device for the first time.If the device indicates a low charge, do the following:1. Connect the charger to the device.2. Charge the battery over USBBattery low, but you don't have a charger with you? You can use a compatible USBcable to connect to a compatible device, such as a computer.To avoid breaking the charger connector, be careful when connecting ordisconnecting the charger cable.If connected to a computer, you can synchronise yourdevice while charging.Charging over USB can take longer to start, and maynot work if you connect through a non-powered USBhub. Your device charges more quickly whenconnected to a wall outlet.When the battery is charging, the charging indicatorlight next to the USB connector is lit. When the batterycharge is low, the charging indicator light flashes. Itmay take a while for charging to start.If your device stops respondingRestart your device. Press and hold for about 8 seconds. The device vibratesthree times and switches off. If your old Nokia device does not have the Phoneswitch application, your new device sends it in amessage. Open the message in the old device, andfollow the instructions.1. Select the device you want to connect to, and pairthe devices. Bluetooth needs to be activated.2. If the other device requires a passcode, enter thepasscode. The passcode, which you can defineyourself, must be entered in both devices. Thepasscode in some devices is fixed. About Ovi Mail With Ovi Mail, you can read and send messages from your mobile device orcomputer. Save location information to your pictures andvideosIf you sometimes struggle to remember exactly where you were when you took aparticular picture or video while hiking or travelling, you can set your device toautomatically record the location. Later, you can view the locations on a map.Location information can be attached to an image or a video clip if locationcoordinates can be determined via network and GPS. If you share an image or avideo clip which has location information attached, the location information isvisible to others that view the image or the video clip.
