© 2007 Microlife Corporation Document: Instruction Manual of WatchBP Pro operational sequence Actions LCD display Description Remark * Power –Up the WatchBP Pro z Locate the black power switch on the back side. z Turn it on z The green indicator light on the top right front of the WatchBP Pro will illuminate and remain lit. *Power –Up the Bluetooth z Locate the silver BT switch on the back side. z Turn it on z “Antenna” icon is flashing and waiting for connection z Please refer to User’s guideline for WatchBP Pro Middleware *First time switch on z Switch on the O/I button at the back side of the unit, LCD full segments display for 1 second with backlight on Auscultative Mode (one time measurement, on left arm). *Measuring mode selection z Mode switch to AUSCULT., device ready for measuring. z Plug icon shows on LCD if 7.5V, 2.0A adaptor is used.

© 2007 Microlife Corporation Document: Instruction Manual of WatchBP Pro *Catch the SYS pressure. z Press “M” button when a faint, rhythmic tapping or thumping sound is heard, which stands for your SYS reading. *Catch the DIA pressure z Press “M” button when your diastolic reading reaches and thumping sound stops, this is DIA reading. * Measurement finishes z When measuring finishes, cuff deflates completely and a long beep sounds. z AUT (auto-measured result), AUS (Aus-measured result) display for about 2 sec with backlight on simultaneously. z A long beep*Display measured values z Device first displays of SP/DP, followed by MAP & PP values. z SP/DP and MAP/PP values display one after the other. z Backlight remains on 40 sec. *Under auscult. mode, device auto measures patient’s BP & pulse and shows the results on the upper side of LCD (AUT). z PP=SP-DP z MAP= DP+1/3 PP

Press M button, LCD shows AUE/AUS, then memory readings, with backlight on simultaneously z Memory SP/DP and MAP/PP displays one after the other. z Backlight remains on 40 sec. z *Withdraw from readings z Press Start/Stop button or put the device untouched for 5’ to terminate measurement display. z First Visit mode (3 times measurement in succession, on both arms). *Measuring mode selection z Mode switch to 1st and device ready for measuring. *Cuff and blue tooth connection z Binding left & right arm cuffs on your both arms correctly. z Push blue-tooth switch on the back side of device (ON/OFF sculpted) to “ON” for computer connection if remote control.

© 2007 Microlife Corporation Document: Instruction Manual of WatchBP Pro * Display of average values z LCD displays values averaged from 3 times measurement with backlight on simultaneously. z Left arm BP values will flash 5 times by default if difference between L and R values are less than 10 mmHg, otherwise, the higher (L or R) flashes 5 times. z Display of SP/DP, following which, MAP & PP shows on. z SP/DP and MAP/PP values display one after the other till device auto off. z Backlight remains on 40 sec. *Data transmission. z Through blue tooth, measured values are submitted to computer for further analysis. *Memory reading--average values display. z Device auto memorizes 3 times measured values and their average readings. z Press M button, LCD shows an “A” then average readings, with backlight on simultaneously z Averaged SP/DP and MAP/PP displays one after the other. z Backlight remains on 40 sec.

© 2007 Microlife Corporation Document: Instruction Manual of WatchBP Pro * Battery low indication z When voltage inside batteries is lower to 4.8V, LCD shows low battery icon and batteries begin to be charged if adaptor is connected. z Once voltage inside batteries is lower to 4.6V, LCD shows low battery icon, then batteries must be charged again. *Turn off the device. z Switch off O/I button at the back side of the unit z Memories won’t be stored once the device is turned off.
