If you have an MRI appointmentw Warning: MRI should not be prescribed forpatients undergoing trial (test) stimulationor who have any neurostimulation systemcomponents that are not fully implanted. Ifan MRI scan is required, the clinician mustexplant all trial (test) stimulationcomponents. MRI has not been tested ontrial (test) stimulation components and maycause heating of the lead electrodes, resulting in tissue damage or seriouspatient injury.Depending on what kind of neurostimulationsystem components that you have implanted, you may be eligible for one of the followingtypes of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)scans:•MRI scans of the head only (this is referredto as head-only eligible).•MRI scans of any part of your body (this isreferred to as full-body eligible).English  97745 2013-04Filename Date TimeUC200xxxxxx EN4.625″ x 6.0″ inches (117 mm x 152 mm)Medtronic ConfidentialPPManual.xsl - PatientProgrammerTemplate.fmVersion: 05-01-2012M948515A001 Rev X 2013-04128MRI examinations 6
