1.Introducon1.1 Indicaons for useThe USB dongle is indicated for use by paents at home and healthcare professionals in a medical office seng to facilitate communicaon between Medtrum medical devices and a computer using the EasyView Web Portal. 1.2 ContraindicaonsNone know.1.3 Warnings Do NOT allow young children to hold the USB dongle without adult supervision. The USB dongle may pose a choking hazard.1.4 Radio Frequency (RF) CommunicaonFCC CauonThis device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operaon is subject to the following two condions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operaon. This interference, however, does not cause any incorrect data to be sent and does not cause any harm to device.1.5 Warranty InformaonMedtrum Technologies Inc. (“Medtrum”) warrants its USB dongle against defects in materials and work-manship for the period of one year from the original date of shipment of the USB dongle to the original end use purchaser (the “Warranty Period”). During the Warranty Period, Medtrum will, at its discreon, either repair or replace (with a new or recerfied USB dongle at Medtrum’s discreon) any defecve USB dongle, subject to the condions and exclusions stated herein. This Warranty applies only to new devices and, in the event the USB dongle is repaired or replaced, the warranty period shall not be extend-ed.The warranty is valid only if the USB dongle is used in accordance with Medtrum’s instrucons and will not apply: • If damage results from changes or modificaons made to the USB dongle by the user or third persons aer the date of manufacture; • If damage results from service or repairs performed to any part of the USB dongle by any person or enty other than Medtrum; • If a non-Medtrum device is used with the USB dongle; • If damage results from a Force Majeure or other event beyond the control of Medtrum; or • If damage results from negligence or improper use, including but not limited to improper storage or physical abuse such as dropping or otherwise.THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS WARRANTY ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AVAILABLE FOR ANY WARRANT CLAIMS. NEITHER MEDTRUM NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE OR KIND CAUSED BY OR ARISING OUT OF A DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE EXCLUDED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.2.Uploading data using the USB dongleYour USB dongle must be properly installed before it can transfer data from a Medtrum Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM) or a transmier to the EasyView Web Portal.Connect the USB dongle to the USB port on your computer via a USB cable. The white power indicator light will be turned on once the dongle is properly connected to a computer that is turned on.    If you want to upload data from a PDM, put it within one meter of the dongle.     If you want to upload data from a transmier, snap it into the dongle. If the transmier is faulty or not compable with the dongle, the red fault indicator light will be turned on.Red fault indicator lightGreen data indicator lightWhite power indicator light11 234Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protecon against harmful interference in a residenal installaon. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instrucons, may cause harmful interference to radio communicaons. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a parcular installaon. This warranty only applies to the USB dongle and does not apply to other products or accessories.

Once the data uploading is completed, all the three indicator lights (the white power indica-tor light, the green data indicator light and the red fault indicator light) will flash five mes.
