User Manual KONE Wibe © 2017 KONE Corporation All rights reserved. 2 ( 8 ) 1 INTRODUCTION This document is a high level user instruction for KONE Wibe wireless BLE sensor board 2 POWER RATING OF THE DEVICE •3 V 15mA3 DEVICE DESCRIPTION •KONE Wibe is a wireless sensor board with Bluetooth (BLE) connection intended to be used inelevator doors for measuring and storing information about the condition and use of doors.4 KONE WIBE INSTALLATION •KONE Wibe shall only be installed to Kone elevators•KONE Wibe shall be installed permanently to the elevator door•KONE Wibe shall be supplied with 3V Lithium coin cell battery and is not electrically connectedany parts of the Kone elevator system5 USE OF KONE WIBE DEVICE •Only Kone maintenance personnel have access to the device.•The device operates independently in the elevator and has a single button for setting up thefunctionality•The device will allow BLE connection to a device which is programmed to the system.•The device supports only BLE data transfer connection and doesn’t support voice call•The system does not support emergency call e.g. 112 or 911.Warning: It is recommend a minimum separation distance (20 cm at minimum) between the device and nearby persons.
