9Wi-Fi networksWi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that can provide internet access at distance of up to 20meters. To use Wi-Fi on your phone, you access a wireless access point, or “hotspot”. Somehotspots are open and you can simply connect to them. Others are hidden or implement othersecurity features, so you must configure your phone so it can connect to them.BluetoothBluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology that devices canuse to exchange information over a distance of about 10 meters.Connect to a computer via USBYou can connect your phone to a computer with a USB cable to transfer music, pictures, and otherfiles between your phone’s SD card and the computer.You cannot share your phone’s data connection and SD card via USB cable at the same time. If youare using USB tethering, you must turn that off first.The connection to USB interfaces has to be limited to USB 2.0 version or higher. The connection toso called power USB is prohibited.Working with secure certificatesIf your organization’s VPN or Wi-Fi Network relies on secure certificates, you must obtain thecertificates and store them in your phone’s secure credential storage, before you can configureaccess to those VPN or Wi-Fi networks on your phone.If your network administrate instructs you to download the certificates from a website, you areprompted to set a password for the credential storage when you download the certificates.Accessing PasswordThe cell phone and SIM card use several accessing passwords. These passwords help to prevent thecell phone from being embezzled.You can use the function options in the security settings of settings menu to change accessingpassword (except for PUK and PUK2).PIN CodePIN code (Personal Identification Number) can prevent the SIM card from being embezzled. ThePIN code is provided along with the SIM card. If the PIN code checking is activated, it is necessaryto input the PIN code when the cell phone powers on every time.If a wrong PIN code has been input for 3 times straight, it is needed to input the PUK code, theninput a new PIN code and input it again for confirmation.PUK Code
10PUK code (Personal Unlock Key) is used to change locked PIN code. PUK code is provided along withthe SIM card. If not provided, please contact your local service provider for PUK code.If wrong PUK code has been input for 10 times straight, the SIM card cannot be used any more.Please contact your service provider for a new SIM card.PUK code cannot be changed.
