                                                                                                          FCAR Series Product Operation Manual Instruction 3  Chapter I    Production Introduction 1.1 Introduction and Features for F6 Plus Petrol version of F6 PULS is the diagnostic equipment for almost every gasoline engine vehicle in the world. It has the industrial tablet hosts with the features of waterproof, anti-drop, and anti-oil pollution, which can be used under a variety of harsh environments to meet users needs; It  has  a  wild  range  of  diagnosis.  Chinese  cars,  Asian  cars,  European  cars,  American  cars,  and  the  standard  OBD  II models all can be diagnosed by it. Also, it diagnoses the 12 common special functions, etc.;   It contains comprehensive functions no matter fault diagnosis or maintenance help or synchronous repair learning, etc.; It  supports  one  key  upgrade.  You  can  update  model  procedures  to  ensure  the  most  complete  and  most  accurate diagnosis anytime and anywhere in the state of the network connection; It can remote diagnose your vehicles. FCAR engineers can assist you with vehicle diagnosis, maintenance and other guidance. 1.2 Care and Maintenance 1.2.1    Storage Environment 1) Store the product on a flat and dry place with suitable temperature.; 2) Never put the product in direct sunlight or near to the heating source; 3) Never put the product in a magnetic field; 4) Avoid smoke erosion, water and oil splashing; 5) Avoid shock, dust, moisture and extremely high temperature; 6) If main unit is dirty, power off the machine, then clean the housing case with soft cloth. 1.2.2    Host and VCI box protection 1) Handle it with care and avoid collision; 2) Be careful to plug and unplug the main cable and diagnostic connector. Tighten the screw before operation to avoid unexpected disconnecting and/or damage to the diagnostic port; 3) Put back the test cable and connectors, and other accessories to the box to avoid loss. 1.2.3    Touch screen Care 1) Dust may be accumulated on the LCD screen due to electrostatic. You are suggested to buy the special LCD screen wiper to clean the screen gently; 2) Don’t wipe the screen with bare finger to avoid fingerprint attached. Never use chemicals to clean the screen; 3) Never put FCAR product close to the electromagnetic wave products to avoid any effect on the screen; 4) Never put FCAR product in direct sunlight or ultraviolet radiation for long time to avoid shortening the service life of the screen.

A series of vehicles fault diagnosis can be carried out.Since  there  are different models  of the product,  such as petrol version  version, please  subject  to the actual  display menu.

                                                                                                          FCAR Series Product Operation Manual Instruction 11  4.6    Upgrade When  connected  to the  Internet  via  Wi-Fi  or  cable  interface,  upgrade  the  diagnostic  software  to  improve  the  product performance timely.  4.7    Settings Set  the  system  Language,  Units,  User  Info,  Self-Test,  Activation,  Print  Settings,  Push  Notification,  About  Us  and  other functions.

Language Settings Our products support multiple languages. You can set languages purchased.  4.7.2.    Unit Set the live data units in diagnostic software. You can select Metric or English as needed.

User Information   Set you personal information: name, phone, email, address, and so on.  4.7.4.    Self-Test You can check the open circuit or short circuit of the main test line and OBD-II connector.   4.7.5.  ACTIVATION The product has a usage restriction of limited times when shipped. After your purchase, you can permanently activate the product.

                                                                                                          FCAR Series Product Operation Manual Instruction 16  Chapter V    Vehicle Diagnosis  5.1    Connection method of host and VCI Connect the VCI box to the vehicle to be diagnosed via the main test line and diagnostic connector        Turn on the machine, enter [Settings]-[VCI connection]. It can be connected via Bluetooth and USB cable: First: Connect the host with VCI box via Bluetooth  1. It is default paired and will automatically connect when used.         If the VCI indicator is not connected, click on "Search";

Wait a minute and the ID of VCI box connected to the vehicle can be found. Click Connect to pair;   3. Click "Pair";   4. After the pairing is successful, VCI Bluetooth lamp on the host will light, and the Bluetooth indicator on the VCI box will also light, which means successful connection. When the connection is OK, F6 plus displays . It will automatically pair next time you use it, and you do not need to set again.

Second: Connect the host and VCI box via USB data cable  1. Select USB, status is "ON"; connect the VCI box and the F6 Plus main unit with the USB cable in the package.   2. It will suggest whether to use USB to connect F6 Plus, please click "OK";

The USB indicator on the VCI box is green, indicating successful connection; as shown in the following figure. Select the software version;    4. You can select Auto or Manual, take [Scan vehicle information ] as an example. Please select “Scan mode”;

Find the car information and click [Enter];  6. Choose the area of car manufactured country [General]:  7. Choose the system for testing [Engine control module ]:  8. Enter the diagnostic interface. In the engine control module, there are Read fault code, Read history fault code, Erase fault code, Live data, Actuation test and other functions.Select according to the needs;

                                                                                                          FCAR Series Product Operation Manual Instruction 24 Chapter VI    Upgrade and Activation Customers who bought FCAR products are suggested activating the machine immediately and regularly upgrade it and complete their personal information to ensure your use and the model program upgrade. Take F6 Plus as an example in the following illustration. 6.1    Upgrade 1. Click [Update];   2. Click the Update icon on the upper left to check whether a new model version is available;

Click Update for corresponding items.    4. Click on the version upgrade behind the [Database] to upgrade all the latest software programs.    6.2    Activation FCAR products are not permanently activated when left the factory. After you power on the machine and select models, you will be prompted: "You are using the trial version, ** times left ", Click [Activate] to enter the activation interface. Use the most convenient two-dimensional code to activate. Method is as follows:  1. Open your QR code tools, Select [Find] - [Scan];    2. Scan the QR code in the machine interface;

Upon completion, the activation code will be displayed;  4. Fill in the activation code to the machine; click [Complete] to back to the activation interface;

Activation is successful. If you are prompted Activation Failed, start again.   7. After the activation is successful, you can see the status bar is displayed as "Activated."

In order to make the best use of the product, we recommend you taking good care of your product, and operating in accordance with user manual's instructions whenever you use it. Your product will be able to serve you longer if all the requirements above are met. 1.  In  line  with  the  following  terms  and  conditions,  and  under  the  premise  that  you  have  activated  our  products  and registered in the website of Shenzhen FCAR Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "FCAR"), we will provide free product warranty services if there are defects in materials or workmanship of hardware. 2. Confirm that you have carefully read the product warranty clause. Your product must be purchased from product dealer that authorized by FCAR. To purchase products through the illegal channels, buyers have to bear the cost of product maintenance services themselves and can’t get the warranty by FCAR.   4. The following items of products are not under warranty range: Items that are easy to wear and tear such as product instructions, inner and outer package box, promotional giveaways, SD card, printing supplies etc.   5. From the date of purchase (subject to valid purchase proof and effective warranty card of the product), if the product suffers  performance  failure  caused  by  non-human  factors,  you  can  choose  our  maintenance  services  or  replace  the product  with  the  same  model  within  one  month. Within the warranty period, you can take the following measures if the product quality problems or failure occurred: 1) You can inspect the product by yourself based on product help information.
