The commonly used Thermistor such as 10K Type 2, 10K Type 3 and 20K Thermistor. b) Voltage – Supports 0 – 10V and 0 – 5V (scaling required). The minimum input impedance of voltage mode input is 1 Mega Ohm.
EasyIO FT Series – User Reference v1.0 13 Network and Wireless EasyIO FT series comes with on board wireless connection. The wireless network comply to IEEE 802.11 standards. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard. Each unit is supplied on board internal antenna. FT Series is Wi-Fi Access Point (AP). The AP connection is used to configure the FT controller. Access Point SSID : FT-xxxxxx , where xxxxxx is the last 6 digit of the MAC address. Mac Address label located at the bottom casing of each FT series controller. The MAC address label is available below circuit board as well Password for FT-xxxxxx SSID by default is 12345678. ** Please change the password to secure the connection** In the example above, the MAC address is 38:D6:20:00:00:00, you should able to scan the SSID as FT-000000 from any Wi-Fi Scanner. Image below shows a Wi-Fi scanner from a Windows Operating system.
EasyIO FT Series – User Reference v1.0 14 Login Details EasyIO FW Series default IP address and login details are as below. FT AP SSID (FT-xxxxxx) Default IP address : 192.168.4.1 Default Subnet : 255.255.255.0 Sedona Login via CPT Username : admin Password : <no password> Web Browser login No login require at the moment. Establish a connection for the first time In this chapter we will guide you to connect the FT Series controller for the first time. A brand new FT controller Wi-Fi Access Point is always enable. It has DHCP server enable. The best approach to connect to a brand new FT series controller is by utilizing its DHCP server and run automatic IP address in your device. This reduces the hassle of manually configuring your computer IP address and other network settings as well as reducing error. Step 1 From your computer wireless network shortcut locate the controller SSID (default main SSID is FT-xxxxxx) and connect. Enter password as 12345678 when prompt. Step 2 Once your computer is connected it will be most likely IP address 192.168.4.2 assign automatically by the FT controller. You should be able to ping the controller via command line. FT default IP address is 192.168.4.1 in AP mode.
EasyIO FT Series – User Reference v1.0 15 Step 3 Use any HTML5 compatible web browser and connect to the FT controller with the IP address 192.168.4.1. Step 4 Once connected you should be able to see 3 options. AP Config Menu Description SSID Access Point SSID name. By default each SSID is named according to its MAX address. You can change the SSID name to your preference. PWD Access Point SSID password. By default it is 12345678. You can change the password to strengthen the security to your preference. AUTH MODE Access Point SSID authentication mode. Several options of authentication mode is supported. At the moment, WPA2 Enterprise is not supported.
EasyIO FT Series – User Reference v1.0 16 Establish connection of FT to a Wi-Fi network Before proceeding to this chapter, please make sure you manage to connect to the FT controller using the above chapter, Establish connection for the first time In this chapter we will guide you to connect the FT Series controller to a Wi-Fi network. Once this chapter is completed your FT series controller is a Wi-Fi client to a Wi-Fi network. Below image is an example of FT controller is part of a Wi-Fi network. Once connected navigate to Scan Wi-Fi menu. Scan Wi-Fi
EasyIO FT Series – User Reference v1.0 17 Select the radio button of the preferred SSID then enter the password for the particular SSID. Finally click Update to complete the task. Once the Wi-Fi connection as a Wi-Fi client is successful , the current SSID and current IP will show. In the example above the FT series controller is connected to a SSID named “EasyIO_RnD@wifi” and it gets an IP address from the SSID DHCP server, “192.168.18.118”. Now the FT series controller is part of EasyIO_RnD@wifi network. Connecting to FT Series (CPT Tool) Before proceeding to this chapter, please make sure you manage to connect to the FT controller using the above chapter, Establish connection for the first time In this chapter we will guide you to connect to a EasyIO FT Series controller with CPT tools for programming. Make sure you have all the prerequisite before we start. Step 1 Connecting to the FW Series Sedona environment using the CPT Tools. The default IP address for the FW Series controller is 192.168.4.1 **Depending to which connection you made to the FT, if you are connecting to the FT which is connected to another Wi-Fi SSID , please refer to Establish a connection of FT to a Wi-Fi network chapter for current IP address. At the CPT Tool open device pane, put in the FT controller IP address. Make sure the “DataFolder” is reference to SedonaFT.
EasyIO FT Series – User Reference v1.0 18 Step 2. A successful connection will open the FW Series Sedona programming environment. Proceed to create your Sedona program, installing additional kits and etc. LED Indicator Colour Behaviour Description 1 Constantly Blinking at 1 Hz Device Running Normally Technical Support For technical issue, please contact Email :support@easyio.com
