Rev 1 – Dec 04 BioTransceiver for Blood Glucose Monitoring Supplemental Instructions Please consult the AccuChek® Advantage® First Time Guide and AccuChek® Advantage® Owner’s Booklet for instructions on setting up the meter, taking a reading, and performing routine control solution verification. Taking a reading 1. Make sure the SenseWear® BioTransceiver is unplugged from the glucose meter. 2. Insert a test strip and perform glucose meter reading as described in the AccuChek® literature. 3. When your reading is displayed, remove the strip. Sending your readings 1. Locate the glucose meter and BioTransceiver within 15 feet of the SenseWear® Wireless Gateway. 2. Plug the BioTransceiver into the glucose meter as shown below. 3. The Wireless Gateway will “beep” and the “RECEIVE” light will flash yellow when data has been sent.
