5 3.ConnectingtheResidentialVoIPcablemodemtoYourComputerInstallationProcedureforEthernetInterfaceFollowthestepsbelowforproperinstallation:1. ConnectoneendofthecoaxialcabletotheCABLEconnectiononthewall,andtheotherendtotheCABLEjackontheTCG220‐Tdp.Note:Tospeeduptheregistrationprocessofcablemodem,thecoaxialcableshouldbeconnectedtothemodembeforethemodemturnedON2. ConnecttheplugfromthepowersupplyintothePOWERjackontheTCG220‐Tdp,andplugthepowersupplyintoanACoutlet.Note:Useonlythepowersupplythataccompaniedthisunit.Usingotheradaptersmaydamagetheunit.3. ConnectoneendoftheEthernetcabletotheEthernetportofyourcomputer,andtheotherendtotheETHERNETportontheTCG220‐Tdp.4.
