1Connect the Gateway to a ComputerStep 3 Plug the smaller endof the Power Cord into theBlack Port on the back of theGateway.Step 4 Plug the larger end ofthe Power Cord into a PowerOutlet.Step 1 Get the Wireless DSLGateway from your DSL Quick Start Kit.Step 2 Get the Power Cordfrom your DSL Quick Start Kit.Wireless DSL GatewayPower CordPower CordBlack PortStep 11 Get the Black or GrayDSL Cable from your DSLQuick Start Kit.Step 12 Plug one end of theDSL Cable into the Gray Porton the back of the Gateway.Step 6 Confirm the PowerLight on the Gateway is SOLIDGreen.Power Light on Wireless DSL GatewayStep 5 Make sure the  PowerSwitch is ON.Power SwitchStep 14 Confirm that thePower and DSL Lights aresolid Green.This may take upto 30 seconds. Power & DSL Lights on Wireless DSL GatewayStep 7 Get the Yellow Cable.Step 8 Plug one end of theYellow Cable into one of theYellow Ports on the back ofthe Wireless DSL Gateway.Step 9 Make sure that yourcomputer is turned on.Then,plug the other end of theYellowCable in the Ethernet Port onthe back of the computer.An Ethernet Port looks similarto a regular Phone Jack,but isslightly larger.Note: If the Ethernet Light does NOT turn green,make sure the Yellow Cable isproperly connected on both ends.Note:The DSL light may blink.Step 10 Confirm that 1 of the4 Ethernet lights on theGateway is Green.This maytake a few moments. Ethernet Lights on Wireless DSL GatewayStep 13 Plug the other end ofthe DSL Cable into the PhoneJack closest to your computer.Note:If the DSL Light continues to blink,make sure you received notification fromyour DSL Internet Service Provider that your DSL service is On.2Install the Phone FiltersStep 1 Unplug your Telephones(or other devices) from theircurrent Phone Jacks.Step 2 Open the Clear Bagand remove the Phone Filtersfrom the bag.What are Phone Filters? Select Utilities.Step 8 The “Congratulations”screen appears. The PowerLight flashes rapidly while theGateway restarts,then glowsSOLID green when fully operational.The DSL Light willalso glow SOLID green.Pleasego to Section 4 to completethe setup of this Gateway.If your DSL Light flashes,pleasego to Step 9.Step 12 Click Save andRestart in the “Save andRestart”screen.Step 13 The “Congratulations”screen appears. The Power Lightflashes rapidly while the Gatewayrestarts,then glows SOLID greenwhen fully operational.The DSL Light will also glow steadily green.Now go to Section 4.Step 4 In the next window,follow the onscreen instructions,then click Next.Step 5 In the next window,selectthe type of connection by clickingon the circle next to PPPoA orPPPoE.If unsure about the selection,contact your ISP.Then click Next.Step 6 Enter the User Nameand Password provided bythe ISP in the ‘DSL BroadbandConnection - PPP’screen.Click Next.Step 10 Click on DSLSettings.Step 11 Input VPI/VCI settingsas provided by your ISP.ClickSave and Restart.This willtake you to the “Save andRestart”screen.If an error stating the Web browser was unable to connect tothe Internet appears,check the configuration settings.Ensureall the information required by the ISP is entered correctly.Your Wireless DSL Gateway has the capability to transmit awireless signal throughout your home.To turn the WirelessSignal ON,follow the instructions for steps 1-5 below.Note:If this screen does not appear,make sure your Ethernet port is configuredfor Dynamic IP.Congratulations!
