Kontrollieren Sie bitte, ob die Verpackung alle oben angeführten Teile enthält. Falls etwas fehlt, wendenSie sich bitte an Ihren AKG-Händler.An den Taschensender PT 4000 können Sie sowohl dynamische Mikrofone als auchKondensatormikrofone anschließen, die mit einer Versorgungsspannung von ca. 6 Volt arbeiten. Selbst-verständlich können Sie auch eine E-Gitarre, einen E-Bass oder ein Umhängekeyboard anschließen.Der PT 4000 arbeitet in einer Schaltbandbreite von max. 30 MHz im UHF-Trägerfrequenzbereich von 650 MHz bis 862 MHz. Innerhalb der Schaltbandbreite können Sie die Trägerfrequenz entweder in 25 kHz-Schritten direkt einstellen oder aus den vorprogrammierten Frequenzgruppen und SubkanälenIhres Senders auswählen.Der Taschensender verfügt über drei Betriebsarten:Im LOCK-Modus überträgt der Sender das Ausgangssignal des Mikrofons an den Empfänger. AlleEinstellfunktionen und Bedienelemente mit Ausnahme des MUTE-Schalters sind elektronisch gesperrt,um ein unbeabsichtigtes Verstellen von Parametern während des Sendebetriebs zu verhindern. Am LC-Display erscheint die Anzeige "LOCK".Im SETUP-Modus können Sie die Sendefrequenz und den Eingangspegel verändern und speichern.Im SILENT-Modus ist nur die Spannungsversorgung des Senders eingeschaltet, es wird jedoch keinFunksignal gesendet. Wir empfehlen, die Trägerfrequenz des Senders immer in dieser Betriebsart einzu-stellen. Nur so können Sie sicher sein, nicht versehentlich auf einer nicht zugelassenen/koordiniertenFrequenz "auf Sendung zu gehen" und eventuell andere Funkdienste oder aktive Funkmikrofone zustören.Das LC-Display mit Hintergrundbeleuchtung zeigt alle wichtigen Parameter sowie den momentanenLadezustand der Batterien und die noch zur Verfügung stehende Spielzeit an.Der Taschensender kann entweder mit 2 handelsüblichen Batterien der Größe AA oder mit dem optiona-len Akku BP 4000 von AKG betrieben werden.Verwenden Sie keinesfalls Standard-Akkus! Diese können bei Kurzschluss der Ladekontakte denSender beschädigen und ermöglichen keine korrekte Anzeige der Batteriekapazität.1Kontroll-LED: Die zweifarbige Kontroll-LED zeigt folgende Betriebszustände des Taschensenders an:Grün: Das Ausgangssignal des Mikrofonkopfs wird an den Sender geleitet, der Sender überträgt dasAudiosignal an den Empfänger.Rot: Das Audiosignal ist stummgeschaltet. Da die Trägerfrequenz jedoch weiterhin gesendet wird,werden im Empfänger keine Störgeräusche hörbar.Die Kontroll-LED leuchtet auch nach dem Einschalten der Spannungsversorgung rot, während derSender die Trägerfrequenz auf den gespeicherten Wert einstellt. Gleichzeitig wird das Display (2) und die Kontroll-LED(1) aktiviert. Der Sender ist nach ca. 7 Sekunden betriebsbereit.Langes Drücken (ca. 1,5 Sekunden) der ON/OFF-Taste im SETUP- oder SILENT-Modus schaltet dieSpannungsversorgung des Taschensenders aus. Im LOCK-Modus ist die ON/OFF-Taste elektronischverriegelt, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Ausschalten der Spannungsversorgung zu verhindern.Als zusätzlicher Schutz vor versehentlicher Betätigung ist die ON/OFF-Taste versenkt angeordnet.4MUTE-Schalter: Schaltet das Audiosignal stumm, wenn Sie den Schalter in die Stellung ”MUTE”schieben. Die Kontroll-LED (1) wechselt auf rot. Da die Spannungsversorgung und die HF-Trägerfrequenz eingeschaltet bleiben, werden im Empfänger keine Störgeräusche hörbar, wenn Siedas Audiosignal stummgeschaltet ist.Um das Audiosignal wieder einzuschalten, schieben Sie den MUTE-Schalter in die Stellung ”ON”. DieKontroll-LED (1) wechselt auf grün.Der MUTE-Schalter ist in allen Betriebsarten aktiv.5Ladekontakte: Die versenkt angeordneten Ladekontakte ermöglichen Ihnen, den optionalen AKG-Akku BP 4000 mit Hilfe des ebenfalls optionalen Ladegeräts CU 4000 aufzuladen, ohne den Akku ausdem Batteriefach herausnehmen zu müssen.6Jog-Schalter: Stellt die verschiedenen Parameter des Taschensenders ein. Der Jog-Schalter hat fol-gende Funktionen:•Im LOCK-Modus:Kurz nach links oder rechts drehen: zwischen Frequenzanzeige, Presetanzeige (nur wenn ein Presetgespeichert ist) und Batterieanzeige (Kapazität in Stunden) umschalten.Lang drücken: eingeschalteten Sender zwischen LOCK- und SETUP-Modus umschalten; ausge-schalteten Sender im SILENT-Modus einschalten.•Nur im SETUP- und SILENT-Modus:Kurz drücken: einzustellenden Parameter aufrufen oder eingestellten Wert bestätigenKurz nach links drehen: Menüpunkt auswählen oder einzustellenden Wert verringernKurz nach rechts drehen: Menüpunkt auswählen oder einzustellenden Wert vergrößernNach links oder rechts drehen und halten: die einstellbaren Werte laufen auf dem Display durch.7Batteriefachdeckel8Frequenzaufkleber: An der Rückseite des Taschensenders ist eine Haftetikette mit dem zurVerfügung stehenden Trägerfrequenzbereich und den Zulassungsinformationen angebracht.9Batteriefach zur Aufnahme der beiden mitgelieferten 1,5 V-Batterien Größe AA oder des optionalenAkkusatzes BP 4000.10 Farbcode: Wenn Sie den Taschensender in einer Mehrkanalanlage betreiben, können Sie denschwarzen Papierstreifen abnehmen und durch einen andersfarbigen Papierstreifen aus dem mitge-lieferten Farbcode-Set ersetzen. Siehe dazu Kapitel 3.6 und Bedienungsanleitung des Empfängers.In den Display-Abbildungen in den folgenden Kapiteln sind die blinkenden Anzeigen durch die Zeichen">" und "<" gekennzeichnet. Wenn Sie andere Mikrofone von AKG oder auch von anderen Herstellernan den PT 4000 anschließen möchten, beachten Sie bitte, dass Sie eventuell den Stecker Ihres Mikrofonsumlöten oder durch einen 3-poligen Mini-XLR-Stecker ersetzen müssen.Kontaktbelegung des Audioeingangs:Kontakt 1: AbschirmungKontakt 2: Tonader (inphase)Kontakt 3: TonaderAn Kontakt 2 steht eine positive Versorgungsspannung von 6 Volt für Kondensatormikrofone zurVerfügung.Wir bitten Sie um Verständnis dafür, dass AKG eine einwandfreie Funktion des Taschensenders PT 4000 mit Fremdfabrikaten nicht garantieren kann, und eventuelle Schäden infolge des Betriebsmit Fremdfabrikaten von der Garantieleistung ausgeschlossen sind.1. Stecken Sie den Mini-XLR-Stecker (1) am Kabel Ihres Mikrofons bzw. am Gitarrenkabel MKG L (2) an dieAudio-Eingangsbuchse (3) des Taschensenders an.1. Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (1).2. Legen Sie die beiden mitgelieferten Batterien (2) entsprechend den Symbolen im Batteriefach in dasBatteriefach ein.Wenn Sie die Batterien falsch einlegen, wird der Sender nicht mit Strom versorgt.Anstelle der mitgelieferten Batterien können Sie auch den optionalen Akku BP 4000 von AKG einset-zen. Dieser passt nur in der richtigen Orientierung in das Batteriefach, kann also nicht falsch einge-legt werden.3. Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (1).Verwenden Sie keinesfalls Standard-Akkus! Diese können bei Kurzschluss der Ladekontakteden Sender beschädigen und ermöglichen keine korrekte Anzeige der Batteriekapazität.1. LOCK-Modus: Der Sender überträgt das Ausgangssignal des Mikrofons an den Empfänger. SILENT-Modus: Die Spannungsversorgung des Senders ist eingeschaltet, es wird jedoch keinFunksignal gesendet. Die Kontroll-LED bleibt dunkel. Alle Bedienelemente sind aktiv. Sie könnensämtliche Parameter des Senders kontrollieren sowie die Trägerfrequenz (siehe Kapitel 3.6) und dieEingangsempfindlichkeit (siehe Kapitel 3.8) einstellen.Wir empfehlen, die Trägerfrequenz des Senders immer im SILENT-Modus einzustellen. Nur so kön-nen Sie sicher sein, nicht versehentlich auf einer nicht genehmigten Frequenz "auf Sendung zugehen" und eventuell andere Funkdienste zu stören.Je nachdem, wie Sie den Sender einschalten, befindet sich der Sender nach dem Einschalten entwederim LOCK-Modus oder im SILENT-Modus.Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, auf welche Trägerfrequenz der Sender eingestellt ist, schalten Sie denSender im SILENT-Modus ein und überprüfen Sie, ob die eingestellte Trägerfrequenz genehmigtund mit der Empfängerfrequenz übereinstimmt.1. Halten Sie den Jog-Schalter (6) so lange gedrückt, bis sich die Hintergrundbeleuchtung des Displayseinschaltet, die Meldung "HELLO" erscheint und die Kontroll-LED (1) erlischt.5

Falls die Trägerfrequenz des Senders nicht genehmigt ist und/oder nicht mit der Empfängerfrequenzübereinstimmt, stellen Sie den Sender auf eine geeignete Trägerfrequenz ein (siehe Kapitel 3.6).1. Drücken Sie ca. 1,5 Sekunden lang die ON/OFF-Taste (3).2. Sobald am Display folgende Anzeige erscheint, befindet sich der Sender im LOCK-Modus:Die Anzeige "LOCK" bedeutet, dass alle Bedienelemente ausser dem MUTE-Schalter elektronischgegen Fehlbedienung gesichert sind.Wenn das Mikrofon stummgeschaltet ist, erscheint am Display zusätzlich die Anzeige "MUTE" und dieKontroll-LED (1) leuchtet rot. Ist das Mikrofon nicht stummgeschaltet, erscheint die Anzeige "MUTE"nicht und die Kontroll-LED (1) leuchtet grün.1. Halten Sie den Jog-Schalter (6) so lange gedrückt, bis am Display ein oder mehrere Anzeigen zu blin-ken beginnen.2. Halten Sie die ON/OFF-Taste (3) so lange gedrückt, bis am Display die Meldung "bYE-bYE" erscheint.Das Display wird dunkel, die Spannungsversorgung des Senders ist ausgeschaltet.1. In dieser Betriebsart können Sie dieSendefrequenz und den Eingangspegel kontrollieren und einstellen, ohne dass ein Funksignal aus-gestrahlt wird.1. Falls der Sender eingeschaltet ist, schalten Sie ihn aus.2. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung schaltet sich ab und es erscheint folgende Anzeige:Der Sender befindet sich im SILENT-Modus, das Display zeigt das Frequenz-Menü.3. Sie können nun die Frequenz entweder im Frequenz-Menü in 25 kHz-Schritten einstellen (Kapitel 3.6.1) oder im Preset-Menü eine der werksseitig vorprogrammierten Frequenzen einstellen(Kapitel 3.6.2). Diese Frequenzen wurden so berechnet, dass keine gegenseitigen Störungen auftre-ten können.6

Der Sender bleibt auf die ursprüngliche Frequenz abgestimmt undam Display erscheint wieder folgende Anzeige:Sie können nun entweder den Eingangspegel einstellen (siehe Kapitel 3.8) oder den Sender in denLOCK-Modus umschalten.Ein Preset besteht aus einer oder zwei Gruppen von Trägerfrequenzen (= Subkanälen). Diese Frequenzenwurden so berechnet, dass keine gegenseitigen Störungen (Intermodulationen) auftreten können. Presetsvereinfachen die Planung von Mehrkanalanlagen wesentlich. Sie sparen Zeit, da Sie die Trägerfrequenzennicht selbst berechnen müssen, und können Intermodulationsprobleme vermeiden.Jedes Preset hat einen Namen ("NAME") aus max. 2 Zeichen, der sich auf das Land bezieht, in dem diebetreffenden Trägerfrequenzen zugelassen sind (z.B. "AT" für Österreich, "DE" für Deutschland, "CH" fürSchweiz usw.). Die Namen der Presets sind alphabetisch geordnet.Wenn Sie eine Mehrkanalanlage planen, achten Sie darauf, nur Trägerfrequenzen (Subkanäle, Anzeige"CH") ein und derselben Frequenzgruppe ("GRP") einzusetzen. Wenn Sie Trägerfrequenzen unterschied-licher Presets und/oder Frequenzgruppen verwenden, können Intermodulationen auftreten.7

Wenn Sie die gewünschte Frequenzgruppe gewählt haben, drücken Sie kurz den Jog-Schalter.Die Anzeige "CH" und die Nummer des momentan eingestellten Subkanals beginnen zu blinken.Jedem Subkanal entspricht eine werksseitig programmierte, intermodulationsfreie Trägerfrequenz.7. Um die nächsthöhere Subkanalnummer zu wählen, drehen Sie den Jog-Schalter nach rechts. Nachder höchsten Nummer springt die Anzeige wieder auf "00".Um die nächstniedrige Subkanalnummer zu wählen, drehen Sie den Jog-Schalter nach links. Nach"00" springt die Anzeige auf die höchste Nummer.8. Wenn Sie mit Ihren Einstellungen fertig sind, drücken Sie kurz den Jog-Schalter. Um möglichst rasch und einfach intermodulationsfreie Trägerfrequenzen zu finden, empfehlen wir, dieTrägerfrequenzen im Preset-Menü innerhalb desselben Presets und derselben Frequenzgruppe aus-zuwählen.Ist der Empfang auf einer der Trägerfrequenzen gestört, schalten Sie die Trägerfrequenz jedes Kanalsam jeweiligen Sender und Empfänger um mindestens 50 kHz oder einen oder zwei Subkanäle nachoben oder unten weiter.Dies ist notwendig, um den für störungsfreien Mehrkanalbetrieb erforderlichen Frequenzabstand zugewährleisten.Betreiben Sie nie mehr als einen Sendekanal gleichzeitig am selben Ort auf derselbenTrägerfrequenz. Dies würde aus physikalischen Gründen zu starken Störgeräuschen führen.Sie können die Eingangsempfindlichkeit des Senders entweder im SILENT-Modus oder im SETUP-Modus einstellen. Wir empfehlen, die Eingangsempfindlichkeit im SETUP-Modus einzustellen, da Sie vondort aus direkt auf den LOCK-Modus umschalten können, ohne vorher den Sender ausschalten zu müs-sen.1. Zum Umschalten vom LOCK-Modus in den SETUP-Modus halten Sie den Jog-Schalter ca. 1,5Sekunden lang gedrückt.Am Display erscheint folgende Anzeige:2. Sprechen oder singen Sie in das Mikrofon bzw. spielen Sie einige Takte auf Ihrem Instrument.Der Sender stellt automatisch die optimale Eingangsempfindlichkeit ein.Der Signalpegel wird durch kurze Striche am Display angezeigt. Der Spitzenpegel wird durch einendickeren Strich dargestellt, der ca. 2 Sekunden lang am Display stehen bleibt.4. Drücken Sie kurz den Jog-Schalter.9

Beachten Sie dabei jedoch, dasssich Einstellungen verändern können, wenn Sie unabsichtlich den Jog-Schalter betätigen.Nach 15 Minuten schaltet der Sender automatisch in den LOCK-Modus um.•Um zwischen dem LOCK- oder SETUP-Modus und dem SILENT-Modus hin und her zu schalten:1. Schalten Sie den Sender aus.2. Schalten Sie den Sender ein, indem Sie entweder die ON/OFF-Taste (-> LOCK-Modus) oder den Jog-Schalter (-> SILENT-Modus) ca. 1,5 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.1. Um das Mikrofon stummzuschalten, schieben Sie den MUTE-Schalter (4) in die Stellung ”MUTE”. DieKontroll-LED (1) wechselt auf rot.2. Um das Mikrofon wieder einzuschalten, schieben Sie den MUTE-Schalter (4) in die Stellung ”ON”. DieKontroll-LED (1) wechselt auf grün.Das Farcode-Set besteht aus vorgestanzten Papierstreifen in verschiedenen Farben, die Sie den ver-schiedenen Kanälen einer Mehrkanalanlage zuordnen und mit zusätzlichen Informationen (z.B.Kanalnummer, Frequenz, Name des Akteurs o.ä.) beschriften oder bedrucken können.1. Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (1).2. Ziehen Sie den Farbcode-Träger (2) aus der transparenten Abdeckung heraus.3. Legen Sie den gewünschten Papierstreifen (3) aus dem Farcode-Set auf den Farbcode-Träger (2).4. Wenn die Anzeige "BATT" zu blinken beginnt, anstelle der Balken ein Strich erscheint und die Kontroll-LED auf rot wechselt, tauschen Sie so bald wie möglich die Batterien aus oder laden Sie den AKG-AkkuBP 4000 auf.Sie können die Restspielzeit des Senders kontrollieren, indem Sie den Jog-Schalter ein bis drei Mal (jenach momentan aktivem Menü) kurz nach links oder rechts drehen. Sie sehen die Batteriekapazität inStunden und zusätzlich als Balkendiagramm.1. Befestigen Sie das Mikrofon am Ansteckclip H 40/1 oder an der Anstecknadel H 41/1 wie in derBedienungsanleitung des Mikofons beschrieben.2. Klemmen Sie das Mikrofon so nahe beim Mund wie möglich an der Kleidung an.Die Rückkopplungsgefahr ist umso geringer, je näher das Mikrofon beim Mund sitzt!3. The spacing between these frequencies is wide enough to prevent any mutual interference(intermodulation). Presets make it much easier to design a multichannel system. They save time becauseyou do not need to calculate your own carrier frequencies and help you avoid intermodulation problems.Each Preset has a one or two-character "NAME" relating to the country where the respective carrier fre-quencies are allocated (e.g., "AT" for Austria, "US" for the USA, or "UK" for Britain). The Preset namesare sorted alphabetically.When designing a multichannel system, make sure to use Subchannels within the same Group only.Using Subchannels of different Presets and/or Groups simultaneously may cause intermodulation.Some Presets may be approved in more than one country. Be sure to assign a separate carrier frequency to each wireless channel (transmitter and receiver).2. To find intermodulation-free carrier frequencies quickly and easily, we recommend selecting allrequired carrier frequencies from the same Frequency Group within the same Preset.If reception on the selected carrier frequency is disturbed, increase or decrease the carrier frequencyby at least 50 kHz or one or two Subchannels on each transmitter and receiver.This is necessary to provide the minimum frequency spacing required for intermodulation-free multi-channel operation.Do not operate two or more wireless channels on the same frequency at the same time andlocation. This would cause unwanted noise due to radio interference. You can set the transmitter input gain either in SILENT mode or in SETUP mode. We recommend settingthe input gain in SETUP mode because you can switch to LOCK mode directly, without having to powerdown first.1. The battery capacity will be displayedin hours and as a string of bars.1. Fix the microphone to the H 40/1 lavalier clip or H 41/1 tie pin referring to the microphone’s instructionmanual.2. Clamp the microphone on your clothing as close as possible to your mouth.Remember that gain-before-feedback will be the higher the smaller the distance between the micro-phone and the mouth!3.
